Highland-March Executive Suites

Highland-March Executive Suites
Highland-March offers Class-A office space with all the amenities by the month, day or hour. HM was scheduled to make a three-minute presentation to their Chamber of Commerce, but instead of talking about their services, as is usual, HM decided to show people instead. OurTown created a brief video that combined testimonials from three satisfied customers with video shots of all the elements that were talked about, including professional administrative staff, Class-A offices, conference rooms and training rooms. Feedback was immediate and very positive because Chamber members could see the various elements, instead of having to imagine them (as they would have had to do if the presentation were merely someone talking.)

Goodfellows Construction Video

Goodfellas Construction #1
The Goodfellas web video is designed to convey the reasons customers choose Goodfellas. The challenges included interrupting the Goodfellas crews to film them in action, gathering the entire crew at a central location for a group shot, and then combining animated photos of finished projects, narration, and multiple location shots into a seamlessly persuasive video. The owners of Goodfellas - Dale Shadbegian and Joe Kuptsas - decided to narrate the video themselves because their integrity is their company’s foundation, and they want potential customers to see them for who they are – the hardworking and committed owners of a very successful home remodeling company.

Goodfellas Construction #2:
Goodfellas had ‘before’ and ‘after’ pictures from one of their multi-room remodeling projects, and wanted to use them in a video rather than just posting them on their website. OurTown animated the photos to give the impression of moving through the rooms, and added elegant music to underline the message - Goodfellas does the kind of work you’d be thrilled to have in your home.

GHS at Sea Video

GHS at Sea
The central Massachusetts accounting firm of Graham, Huckins and Shepherd created a new division within their company that specializes in tax returns for merchant mariners. GHS decided that they needed two videos on the GHS at Sea website – one to present their respectability and trustworthiness, and another to showcase Ivana Callahan, the driving force behind the formation of GHS at Sea. Ivana wanted a nautical background, so her video was shot against a green screen and a ship was added in post-production.

Attune Systems Inc. Video

Attune Systems, Inc.
Attune is a California-based software company with a sales office in the Metrowest Boston area. OurTown filmed a testimonial from a very satisfied Attune customer, and the challenge was how to take 20+ minutes of testimonial video and ‘stitch’ together chosen segments into a seamless, and shorter, final product. The final testimonial video is rather technical, and Attune decided that chapter headings would be a great way to separate the large concepts into manageable ‘bites’. OurTown created a background graphic from components supplied by Attune, and added music to make the chapter breaks more lively and interesting.

Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce Video

Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce
Corridor Nine needed a multi-media video to convey the excitement and energy of the Chamber’s 14 different groups and committees. The final video is 17 minutes long and combines upbeat music, animated graphics, narration, location video and animated photos to present an upbeat and energetic picture of how much fun Corridor Nine members have when they participate in their Chamber’s volunteer committees.

Benefits Lab, Russ Swallow Video

BenefitsLab
BenefitsLab owner Russ Swallow wanted to post a simple ‘talking head’ video on his website to explain to visitors his tagline: “The 3,700 Year Old Man.” The raw video was shot in a conference room against a blue-gray background, and minimal editing was needed to deliver the final product.

Westborough Police Chief Video

Westborough Police Department
Police Chief Alan Gordon is a master at communication, and posts a monthly video message to Westborough residents on his department’s website. His January 2008 message warned drivers to slow down in snowy and icy conditions, and showed the consequences of driving too fast on icy roads. OurTown combined a ‘talking head’ shot of the chief with video from several accidents that occurred in Westborough during a previous snow storm to create a brief and effective video for the town’s residents.
